Red Dyed Mulch
The Red Dyed Mulch is produced from recycled hard wood products such as lumber & pallets that are ground up then dyed to their specific color. This product provides a very visually pleasing and long lasting value. Typically you can expect to get about 2 seasons of color from the dyed mulches with the proper care. Although this mulch fails to provide any real nutrient value for the soil, it will continue to serve as a great way to hold moisture in and look great.
Western Red Cedar
This product provides a very pleasing aroma of cedar and also serves as a natural bug repellent. Just like putting cedar liners in you drawers to keep the bugs out. This serves the same purpose. The life for this product is about one and a half seasons.
Double Ground Hardwood
The Hardwood mulch is processed here on our site. This material is a recycled mixof wood chips & logs that we collect throughout the year. We utilize a 1000 horsepower tub grinder and double grind all of that material collected. We then stockpile it and let it “mature” for about 90 – 120 days until it achieves that rich brown color. This mulch is mostly used in the commercial side of things when large quantities are needed due to its great economical pricing. This mulch will not break down as fast as the others. It generally has a more textured look to it and should last you about one to one and a half seasons.
Natural Brown Dyed Mulch
Our Natural Brown Dyed mulch is made from all natural hardwood logs and wood chips. We process this material two times through our tub grinder, then use a no toxic dye to enhance the natural brown color of the mulch. Since this mulch is made from natural wood it will break down and become an amendment to the soil just as the other mulches do. This mulch has a medium texture to it, and its color will last about a year.
Triple Ground Hardwood
The Hardwood mulch is processed here on our site. This material is a recycled mix of wood chips & logs that we collect throughout the year. We utilize a 1000 horsepower tub grinder and triple grind all of that material collected. We then stockpile it and let it “mature” for about 90 – 120 days until it achieves that rich brown color. You can expect to get about a full season of life out of this mulch.
